NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES NOMINATIONS
The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation’s historic places worthy of preservation. Authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and administered through the National Park Service, the National Register of Historic Places is part of a national program to coordinate and support public and private efforts to identify, evaluate, and protect America’s historic resources.
Listing in the National Register of Historic Places is a prerequisite for many historic preservation incentive programs, including state and federal historic tax credits.
RHC exceeds the Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualification Standards for evaluation and registration of historic properties and has completed successful National Register nominations for a variety of properties, including individual listings, Multiple Property Listings, and historic districts. RHC assists property owners in determining National Register eligibility and prepares the necessary documentation for National Register listing.
